Travellers will stay in a range of 3 star guest houses and hotels along the route. Whilst volunteering in Chintsa, Buccaneers Lodge & Backpackers hosts volunteers in dorm style accommodation.

Day 1
Arrival in Cape Town South Africa and transfer to the Atlantic Point Backpackers in Green Point.
Highlights: take the cable car up Table Mountain

Day 2
Cape Point Tour
- CHAPMAN'S PEAK DRIVE - Spectacular drive along the Peninsula.
- CAPE OF GOOD HOPE RESERVE - Observe wildlife in a fynbos landscape.
- CAPE POINT - Africa's most south-westerly point.
- BOULDERS Beach - Walk along this penguin reserve (Entrance fee not included, but penguins can be seen without entering the reserve.)
- Return to Cape Town via SIMONS TOWN, KALK BAY & MUIZENBERG coastal route

Day 3
Robben Island Tour - visit the island where Nelson Mandela was incarcerated
Head to Gansbaai to the Gansbaai Backpackers.

Day 4
Shark Cage Diving - Get eyeball to eyeball with these Great White sharks, while the marine biologists and experienced crew will show you where they hunt and hide, as well as how and where they feed, breed and breach.

Day 5
Head to Plettenberg Bay
Stop at the Cango Caves. 29km from Oudtshoorn, at the head of the picturesque Cango Valley, lie the spectacular underground wonder of the Klein Karoo - the Cango Caves. Situated in a limestone ridge parallel to the well known Swartberg Mountains, you will find the finest dripstone caverns, with their vast halls and towering formations.
Stay at Backpackers Beach House in Plett

Day 6
Choose between a whale watching tour or an ocean kayaking

Day 7
Head to World famous surfers haven Jeffreys Bay
Stop at the world's highest bungee jump from the Bloukrans Bridge. If you are looking for something a little more chilled then the canopy tour might be best for you!
Spend the night at Island Vibe Backpackers in Jeffrey's Bay

Day 8
Surf School in J'Bay
Head for Addo and stay at the stunning Avoca River Cabins

Day 9
Head into Addo National Park to spot the big 5!
Drive to Buccaneers Lodge in Chintsa, get settled and enjoy the magnificent views.

Day 10
Southern Kei Day Tour—depart Chintsa and head for the Great Kei River, crossing on the rickety old ferry before heading into the hills and valleys of rural Transkei, dotted with villages of the amaXhosa people and home to Nelson Mandela. This tour includes historical stories of the ages and kloofing (cliff jumping) and swimming in the deep rock pools at The Gates before going to Morgan Bay for a short hike, a picnic lunch and a swim.
Arriving at Ngxingxolo Village you will meet Mama Tofu where you will learn the intricacies of the amaXhosa people and their culture. Enjoy a traditional cooked dinner cooked on open fires.

Day 11
Departure from Buccaneers, Chintsa to East London airport
